We recently learned,
Under our nations western grazing lands,
there are deep reserves of potable water, below the most drought stricken areas,
As shown left, they vary from 900ft to 2400 ft below the surface of the ground.
Many are in former indian reservations,
already deeded to the states they are in,
others are in our State or National parks,
Most are in shale and some are in alluvial,
soils which yeild to well drilling equipment.
With your support Congress, could quickly, authorize the USDA and Corps of Engineers,
To drill 8" wells, down to the deep aquafiers.
so as to help refill the Hoover dam and help, farmers, cattlemen and diary cattle ranchers,
to overcome the effects of the increasing,
drought and prevent havoc in our nation.
